Performance Based Interviewing

Purpose:
Performance-Based Interviewing (PBI) uses structured, behavioral interviewing so interviewers can make consistent, rational evaluations of candidates. Participants learn how to conduct interviews that are legally defensive and focused on eliciting relevant and useful information about a candidate’s knowledge, skills, ability and work-orientation factors.

Process:
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the priority behaviors required for the targeted position and structure questions appropriate for the targeted position
  2. Hire with consistency, fairness, and a better likelihood of success
