MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE

For you to know how well your business is doing, you need to measure specific criterion. By measuring this criterion, you can determine whether your company or department is achieving its goals or falling short. Keep in mind, the measurement criterion for your company will be different from the measurement criterion of another company. The key to building a more productive company is to know which criterion to measure. We call this criterion, the drivers of your business. It's not enough to know what your real purpose of business is, have an inspiring cause, create a strategy and implement tactics to increase productivity. You need to measure your company's or department's performance in the areas that will make your business successful in both the short and long term. Many businesses or departments measure the wrong criterion - the wrong drivers. This lesson will help you determine what needs to be measured in your business.
